John C. Navien Partner

John C. Navien specializes in unique life insurance planning strategies for high net worth individuals, business owners and families. He founded Navien Financial in 2014 to explore strategic partnerships to add value to his client's long term Estate and Tax efficiency goals. John's success has been attributed to years of cultivating a network of comprehensive resources which serve a range of personal and business planning strategies. In addition to being a vital connector, John has roughly 17 years of experience in design and implementation of sophisticated protection planning, estate conservation and retirement planning. 

John was appointed by Governor Charlie Baker as the Boxing Commissioner for the Massachusetts State Athletic Commission in December 2022.

John currently sits on the Board of Directors and Governance Committee for The Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra and City Kids, as well as an Advisory Board Member at The Base, Roxbury. John's recent work includes building an Emerging Leaders Network at The Base to support urban youth. John graduated with a Bachelor of Science from The University of New Hampshire, Whittemore School of Business and holds the designations of Chartered Financial Consultant, Chartered Advisor in Senior Living, and Chartered Life Underwriter. 

John lives in Boston with his wife, Amanda, and children, Avery and Cillian.
